Beginning in 2020, the AAO launched two new membership exclusives.
Mastering the Business of Orthodontics was developed in partnership with the Wharton School of Business — the #1 business school in the United States — to help members build their practice and leadership skills. The program covers 8 essential and up to date topic areas taught by Wharton’s world-class professors and AAO instructors and guest speakers who are all orthodontic industry experts. Throughout your studies, you’ll learn how to incorporate these business concepts into your practice and engage with your colleagues to develop a more profound understanding of the material and principles. AAO TechSelect is a comprehensive, unbiased resource for in-house fabrication of aligners. Through this program, members can learn about the process, research products, and save money by locking in the best prices from trusted partners. This resource brings orthodontists the information they need to understand the process, select equipment, software and supplies for their practice and get up and running. Due to COVID-19, all interviews were filmed virtually and edited in-house to avoid the need for in-person contact.
