In response to the growing trend of consumers receiving orthodontic care from alternative sources like dentists or direct-to-consumer programs, the AAO wanted to send a clear message—only orthodontists are qualified to provide orthodontic care.

Inspired by AAO blogs like “Is My Dentist Also an Orthodontist?,” we crafted a campaign that was sure to get the point across. Through a series of metaphorical scenarios, we made the point that just because you’re a professional, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re right for the job.
